Has anyone been to this theme park located in Germany? I noticed the sunday times amongst others regard it as Europes "best".

I notice I can buy entry tickets with tesco deal vouchers so am considering a visit with 4 kiddies who will be aged 6 to 9.

Well I have been but it was probably 18 years ago when I was a mere teenager so not sure my opinion will be much help to you.  We had a fab time, scaring ourselves silly on all the rides.

Hopefully someone with more recent experience will be along soon.

Hi have been here twice.

First timekids were 5&6 and second time last year when kids were 10 &11. this is a really great park better than euro disney by heaps! it caters for all ages and is set out in countries each area having several rides of differing thrill levels. there is also an area specially for younger kids. (checkout it's website)

There are several campsites really close by and one at the park itself - have always found German sites to be of very high standard clean etc also the food is excellent.   If you are heading down this way it would be better to do an overnight stop on way as it is quite a journey in one go especially with younger kids. We stopped at luxembourg the first time and berny riviera the second time. 

If you're into theme parks another good one is Park Asterix just outside Paris on the A1.

Hi....we were there last year and it was FANTASTIC !!

Like the others have said,it is much better than Disney and there was so much to see and do that we didn,t manage it all in a day.

Our kids were 4 and 12 and they both loved it!

We had never heard of it before,it was our friend that lives near there that suggested that we go....we tell everyone now that if you,re ever in Germany try and include it in your plans as it,s so fantastic!

I just wish that we lived closer,so that we could go back again!....Oh well,one day!
