Hope you can help. We are looking for a decent overnight campsite on the way to the Dordogne. Hope to stay at Parc des Alicourts but they only take min 1 week bookings. Is there anywhere similar anyone knows of with good facilities to break the journey, but not too far from the autoroute? Any help will be appreciated.

We have done this route many times with 3 young children and used to stop over for a night or two. Now we just drive through the night, stopping for snoozes if we feel tired, which we find is less hassle than stopping and staying at a hotel, for the night.
4h to Dover, 12 am ferry, arrive Dordogne (nr Sarlat) around 3 pm, driving quite slowly and with lots of stops.
Go around Paris: Calais, Abeville, Rouen, Chartres, Dreux, Orleans,
