Has anyone been here? Just interested to know of other peoples views of this site, as we are spending a week here in the summer.

Would that be the one at Melun, just south of Paris? If so, it's in the Camping Cheque scheme, so should be of a decent standard, hopefully.

If its not that one, there are lots of "Belle Etoiles" to chose from, and you should get more help if you can identify its location. Good luck!

If you're at Belle Etoile before 12 July, or after 23rd August, then each night on site can be 'bought' for one Camping Cheque (or £10.30 per night, for two people, pitch, hook-up, caravan or tent or motorhome, and two children under 12 for Gold Card holders).  See the Camping Cheque website for more details.  In April, May, June and September the site will give you 7 nights for 6 cheques, or 14 nights for 11 cheques.

You have picked a great site.  We've stayed here 3 times and are now recognised by sight.  It runs a bus to the train station for Paris, has a blow up pool! a trampoline, cafe bar and a lovely walk into Melun along the river.  Great place, friendly dutch people run it, bathrooms and facilities are very good and not far to supermarket selection for provisions.  Hope this helps and that you have a great holiday.
