Has anybody been here?

We have been offered a number of pitches very close to the lake?  We don't want to feel like we are in a goldfish bowl with thousands of people walking past to get to the lake.

Advice please!  Thanks!

Hi. If memory serves me correctly, the largest pitches are closest to the lake. We had a pitch bordering the road to the lake and were quite happy with. Good site in a wonderful location. I'm sure you'll love it.

Hi ,many good campsites nearby that are a bit cheaper than Manor Farm, we stayed at both Camping Jungfrau and Lazy Rancho, both in walking distance of Manor Farm ,there wasnt 1000s of people there but it was really busy around the lakeshore but you do get a reasonable amount of room as the pitches here were bigger than the two sites we stayed on,nice walk into Interlaken great scenery, tried to climb the Eiger but run out of scaffolding half-way up    have a good one regards S/C

Just back - had a fantastic time.  Site beautiful.  Fairly busy but pitches plenty large enough to not feel claustrophobic.  Our pitch was on a hardstanding near the lake (4 pitches away) but even at the weekend the lakeside beach was not too busy.  Prettiest toilet blocks I've ever seen (built to look like a Swiss Chalet).  Site staff very friendly and helpful.  Interlaken is about 10 minute drive (free regular bus service from site to centre of Interlaken).

Very happy ...............
