You might just get it done in time, the process takes nearly 7 months.
Dog has to have a Chip, then the Rabies vacination, a couple of weeks after that a blood sample is taken and sent to a Lab for testing. If the blood passes you get the PassPort, you can then take the dog out of the country, BUT you can not bring the dog back in till 6months after the date that the blood sample was taken. Hope all this makes sence, the 'DEFRA' web site explains it all.
