Can anyone recommend a bed and breakfast or a hotel somewhere in the Beziers to Nimes area as I need to book one night in August before flying home. Thanks for any advice given.

We often spend overnights in IBIS hotels in France, good clean rooms, breakfast is you want it is extra and there is usually one close to a port/airport. Good value for money. There are also ETAP Hotels, Campanile and Formule One

I have three sides, left, right and wrong - which one are you on?
Google any of these and see which hotel suits you best.
If you could narrow down the area a bit it might help with the choice. We did Beziers to Nimes last year. We were intending to drive further North but due to weight of traffic decided to stop overnight. Have to say the drive took us far longer than we expected.

We've just stayed at the Ibis in both Nimes and Avignon (this week, Monday and Tuesday night) - good value rooms, restaurant in the building, and fine for an overnight stay. If you're flying from Nimes/Arles/Camargue airport then you could stay in Nimes itself, or the Ibis at Arles - either of these would be fine. If your're flying from Beziers then I would look in Beziers itself.
We are flying from Nimes and there are four of us, which will probably mean two rooms as they are not children. I don't mind paying a little bit more for some where really nice!
How much did your Ibis cost Val if you don't mind me asking?
I'll never forget the one at la Barreme in provence. I picked an olive off a tree and ate it... not a good idea.
..or http://www.gites-de-france.com/gites/uk/bed_breakfasts for the more personal B&B accomodation. We've stayed at some lovely B&B places in the past both as a couple and as a family, every one unique and always a friendly welcome. Unfortunately, we've moved on to BB chain of hotels for the long drives as they're so conveniently placed for motorway travellers and our kids love the 'plastic' breakfasts.

Ibis was 52 euros for one night, and 69 for the other - double rooms, not per person. Breakfast is extra, (8 euros) as it is in most hotels in France. It's not particularly nicely situated, being in the Centre Commercial with all the other hotel chains, but it is quiet, despite being near the Nimes bypass. It has an outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool. We did stay at the Thalassa Mercure at Port Camargue on our last night (about 40 minutes from the airport at Nimes - which is to the south of the city) - and that was lovely. We had rooms overlooking the sea, with a balcony, and it was warm enough to sit outside and watch the sun set.
I agree with Johnny about the Gites de France B and B idea, though, - we've done this too, and found a really nice B and B to the north of Nimes, at Les Mages - but it's a little too out of your way to consider as an airport stopover.
