I wasn't too sure about Aareg as we stayed at the smaller, adjacent site of Seegartli. Seegartli certainly takes tents.
I googled Aareg and amongst a number of German entries this one came up. This confirms they DO take tents as well as caravans.

Thanks Tim - why are you not sure about Aaregg ? I've watched the videos and there's a 2 page item on it in the most recent Camping - I can't pick between there and Lazy Rancho. I don't think we'd go to Seegartli, as we want a bit of facilities for the kids - playgrounds, swimming pool (though Aaregg hasn't got one and Lazy Ranchos doesn't look the best either), table tennis - that sort of thing.
