You will have to do some shopping around. If you are a member of either of the Clubs I would certainly try them. Norfolk Line seem to have some good deals. Speed Ferries is another option. Have you done a web search for cheap fares?

Agree with using Norfolk Line. We've always found them to be the cheapest option. We don't have a trailer though.
We don't find it any more hassle arriving at Dunquerke rather than Calais. In fact there is less traffic and we can get on our way with less hassle.
The boats are new and spotlessly clean.

If you can do without the trailer--you will save an awful lot of money on your crossing--Norfolk line are generally cheapest--the other Dover operators are P&O, SeaFrance & Speed ferries---google those names for their websites-you can book online--I would book before May--prices go up the nearer the peak months you leave it--------------- Every day should be a holiday!

We have used P&O for the last few years.
Norfolk line do come out about £10-00 cheaper for this years requirements but did not meet with the times we wanted to cross.
I agree with the other comments, check out the availability and times and go with who you feel best suits your needs...
Enjoy your holiday

I have found that with a trailer speedferries are good value provided your car plus trailer are no longer than 7m long. We used them last year and are using them again this year. ( though we will remember to have sick bags with us at all times!!)
Other than that, I don't shop in Tesco but people who do say they can save a fortune using tesco vouchers
i know if does not help you for this year but i recommend booking before the end of january for the best prices

If you collect Tesco vouchers and dont mind travelling on the Eurotunnel Folkestone to Calais - it won't cost you anything!

Depending where you are going to in europe why not try TRANS EUROPA
These go from Ramsgate to Ostend.
Also try ferry brokers such as A FERRY TO or MY FERRY, it's surprising how much you can save on these sites more so on the longer crossings and more obscure crossings.
