I got an annual pass last year, cause it worked out cheaper, than buying a 3 day ticket you also get free car parking, & you save money in the shops. etc.

What is the cheapest way to get two day passes for two adults, two children (12 &10) and a baby (2) for this August, buy here or there, get sponsored or annual passes???
When we first went we were only there 2 days but we new we would be going again so we bought annual Dream Passes.
Dream Passes give:
Free parking 8 euros a day
Up to 20% off in resturants and shops
Up to 50% off hotels
We have used ours on the last 3 visits and we are going again in 5 weeks also going to spend some time there during the summer when we have our main holiday.
As it is only a 3 hour from the tunnel it's a good place for us to stop.
So far we have spent 16 days in Disney so saved a lot just on parking. Had 2 stays in hotels, eat in the resturants every day so saved money there let alone what we have saved in the shops.
For us it was better value to buy an annual pass but look at what fits your needs.
You will need to pay for the 2 adults 2 kids but not for the baby.
If you have a look an the Disney website and sign up for the email, they did do an offer for 1 day 2 park pass for 10 euros but only on certain dates. Could be of use to you.
If you are not to tired after reading all of that enjoy your visit to Disney.
I got my passes from the Carefree brochure, the travel section of the C&CC. They had a discount of 15% off single day/two park hopper tickets, so buying two days worth of single tickets worked out cheaper than two day passes.
You've got to book some part of your trip through them to get this deal though, I think. Plus be a C&CC member.
I am now totally and utterly gutted - we have booked our camping trip with the plan to do a stopover on the way home and visit Disney on the Sunday on the way back to the ferry. Just realised I had read the restrictions wrong and the Saturday and Sunday are two of the 'blackout' days on our passes.
So thats 4 annual passes which albeit I got for free, but that will be totally unused, and which were a lot of hassle to get! Can't see any way round it.
Didn't really want to spend loads of time there as we felt we had done it to death so one day just to do the new rides was all we planned - but it is so annoying as I could have shifted our holidays to match the dates if I'd realised. Choice now is to cut short our last site by a day and come home 3 days early, go a day early and stop en route to Loire rather than having 2 nights in the Loire (but that means we won't be coming on the same ferry as our friends and they will have to make their own way to their first site, whereas the idea was they would follow us) or try and persuade OH to take an extra day off (which he will say he hasn't got even though he does gazillions of unpaid overtime) so that we can go on the Monday.
Poo... was already in the doldrums today, now I just feel totally deflated.
Somebody persuade me that Disney is overrated, that we will enjoy Asterix and Versailles just as much for our journey home 'days out' PLEASE
Hubby didn't show enough interest in the problem so I have made a unilateral decision and changed our ferry booking so that we can stay a day later.
Even better, when I phoned the assistant told me there was a £10 fee for the amendment (which I was quite happy about) and then she said 'hold on I need to speak to my manager' - she came back and said that as the new ferry was £30 cheaper than the old one there would be no amendment fee and because they couldn't refund me (I paid by Tesco vouchers) they were also giving me 'Priority Loading' which is normally £20. Not sure what that means - was just chuffed not to have to pay to amend it!
Now I just have to decide where to stay - another night at Huttopia? or a hotel at Disney?

Hi we went in February half term and stayed at the Santa Fe hotel- it was a room with 2 double beds, ensuite , tv- and was clean and comfortable and just what we needed ie a place to sleep. breakfast was included. we ate out in Disney the rest of the time. I can reccommend Rainforest cafe in the Disney village and Pizza planet in the main Disney park
but avoid the Pizza wagon in the Studios ( pizzas not cooked properly and had to wait for 40 mins to get money back) near the "horrible" Rock n rollercoaster ride- it is the worst ride I have ever been on- kids were chucking up afterwards- having said that others kept going back for more! The twilight tower is great but dont eat before hand!
The hotels they have a free shuttle bus which goes to the parks otherwise it would probably be a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute car ride( if that)- I dont think I would have fancied a ride into Paris at 10pm after a hard days walking.
We had 3 day hotel pass to the park and to the Studios- this meant we didnt have to queue up with the day visitors but went in a separate entrance.
We knew about the fast pass system so went straight to the popular rides to find they had changed the system- you could only have a fast pass ticket open at one time and you cant get another one until you have used up the first one.
Also there are a limited no so if you go later in the day some of them will have gone and you have to join the long queues. You put your day passes into a machine by certain rides and you get the fast pass out and it will have written on it when you return.
My son goes to Parc asterix with school in July- dont know much about it except my French friends prefer it.
My son (7 now) absolutely LOVES the Rock n Roll roller coaster, as do I.
The funniest was a bunch of British teenagers who were really winding themselves up into a tizzy about it and debating whether to back out or not when standing next to the 'take off'. One of them pointed to DS and said 'he's not very old and he's going on' - son said - "yes, I'm six and this will be my 6th time today!" (and he wasn't exaggerating!)
Fastpass wise, some discussions on Disboards seem to suggest that on quieter days the systems will allow you to hold more than one Fastpass, but you won't know until you try it - so choose your first one wisely!
Parc Asterix is much more basic, the rides are OK but there is no Fastpass system at all and when we were there several rides were broken or broke down and we had to wait for them to be fixed. Talking to other Brits in the queues this seems to be a regular thing. However, you can use Tesco vouchers for Asterix - so that in itself makes it worth going as its FREE.
One trick with the fastpass system it is worth trying- once your fastpass time has come started (ie your 30 minute window in which to do the ride), your fastpasses are available to use again, so instead of going on the ride straight away, go to another of the rides you want to fastpass & start to book that - then go & do the first ride.
