After seeing a full page advert in Camping and Caravanning magazine for camping trips to Denmark I thought I would do a site search here, but none seem to be are listed. Does anyone have any experience of camping in Denmark? Which areas would be good for families with children aged 7--12. The ferry cost seems very high, so it will be something to save up for. Perhaps 2009.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Denmark is great - if pricey, and is quite a drive thro Netherlands and Germany.
there are loads of very good sites - suggest you get the Scandinavian Camping Card - bit like a CCI.
It's greta driving there - only 6million or thereabouts as a population so lots of rural bits with lakes n lovely towns / villages
