Diesel has gone more expensive than petrol over here.In my local garage it is €1.31 but in Kilkenny city 10 miles away it costs €1.39 pl.So you can gauge from there.Also the cost of food and drink has rocketed SO BRING PLENTY OF EUROS.....................Btw if you have any room in your van would you please bring some SUNSHINE...and leave it here..!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Sean. The diesel is still cheaper than here by 20p (english) And our food is a lot more now, so I think it will be still cheaper than here. And I will try to bring the sun,but I am coming to see the country again and the  people, not bothered about the weather.

Hi, just nipped over the border to fill my truck today. Still worth doing. My friend went owner driver last month and was parked up in Limerick last night. Woke up this morning and one of his tanks had been drained, luckily the smaller one, lost 200litres. Guess who dont worry about the increase in fuel prices? Yip you've got it. He was parked across from a travellers site which he hadn't noticed when he stopped. Garda didnt want to know!
