Can anyone give me a brief description of the rules of this game. Also any tips would be welcome as my 6 year old twins seem to beat me most of the time.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I see quite a few adults playing in town at lunchtimes, presumably to gain unfair advantage over 6-year-olds. If that doesn't work for you, these things come in different weights, you know. It should be possible to find some too heavy for them to lift
Where I live we have both an annual boules competition at the school fete (usually ends at about 2 am) and also a village competition that runs throughout the summer. It is incredibly sociable (someone usually brings a bottle or two), fiercely competitive as you get further through the rounds and is good old fashioned entertainment.
Basically where your kids are concerned, use your height and try and smash their boules away from the jack. A pair of twelve year olds won our village competition last year so I think things will get pretty intense later in the summer as the adults try to get their own back - a case of don't get mad, get even!!
