As promised we would let you know how we got on with our 6 week tour of Denmark, Norway and Sweden in our Pathfinder.
We are on our last evening, at the moment in Copenhagen, tomorrow we head for Esbjerg and the ferry home.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the trip and have not found it as expensive as we expected. We took boxes of wine with us, as well as quite a few extra provisions, and used either Camping Cheques or Camping Card sites wherever possible. The main expense was on road tolls or ferries in Norway.
Anyone thinking of doing a similar trip, we would say 'go for it' you will not regret it.
Many thanks to those of you who gave us lots of helpful information before we set off. Hopefully we can now help someone else in the future.

Thanks for that - Scandinavia is a "retirement project" for us.(And wine boxes are first on my packing list!!)
Spent a summer in Finland, Norway and Sweden in 1964 (that dates me!!!) and have always wanted to return. Have saved your site to "Favourites" and will read it at leisure. Glad you had a good time - and well done on your initiative in going somewhere different (France for us again this Summer!!)
Hope you don't mind if I contact you for advice in the future
