We camped here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=7831 a couple of years ago.  It was spotlessly clean and they do have statics for hire. The site is right on a beach but it is a a bit of a trek to the village.

There is a site at Downings, Co. Donegal, has loads of statics but don't know if they are for hire or privately owned.

Hello and thanks for all your replies. It would appear that many of the statics are privately owned but waiting to hear back from the one at Newcastle. Maybe wait for a window in the weather and take the tents on the ferry!

Hi Mo, google Hagans Leisure, they hire out mobile homes in Newcastle Co. Down and Ballycastle Co. Antrim. I havent used them so cant say what they are like!
