Alan, like you we're off there in a couple of weeks. Busy checking how it will affect our plans. We've booked some water sports nearby which I don't think will be affected.
Drinking water issue may well affect the campsite near Avignon.

Can you let us know what you discover - or point me to references. We were heading into that neck of the woods and probably still will but if there is a choice between a campsite where we can drink the water and swim in the river and one where we need to bring in bottled water and avoid the river I would like to know in advance.
