After having 2 great weeks at Stu and Sybs Le Chant Oiseau site in the Liore,we have got the France bug.

We have already booked 2 weeks on the med for next August-September.

We now want to take our Grandson for next spring bank holiday, we intend to stop at Le Chant D' Oiseau  for 1 week, we are looking for a suitable site on the coast 1-2 hours from Loire.

Now i may be asking for the impossible, a quite clean site with good shower facilities,able to use camping cheques,facilites suitable for a 10 year old and close to nice beach.

Any thoughts.

We had a great time at;  www.mane-guernehue.com  just this spring bank hol with our 7 and 8 year olds who almost cried when we left. It is a big site and we wouldnt go in high season as it would be a bit too busy for us but late May was perfect, probably around 20% full and everything is open and there is loads to do. When the weather was good the outdoor pools were immaculate and when it was cool the new indoor pool with slide was really welcome.

There is no beach within walking distance but plenty a few minutes drive away and there is loads in the area to do. If we go to France again in May we will definitely go here again. No idea about the camping cheques but well worth finding out.
