We've just returned from a fantastic holiday at Las Dunas, Costa Brava, Spain.  Although we've have travelled many times to France this was the longest tow we have ever undertaken and we were apprehensive with two children to consider.

It was an easy journey and has given us lots of confidence.  We want to plan to go to Italy next year and wondered if anyone knows of a really good campsite we could stay at.  Our requirements are to be very near the beach, larger than normal european pitches, swimming pool, shop, clean shower blocks.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Some of the sites between Lido di Jesolo, Cavallino and Punta Sabbioni are very nice, most are very reasonably priced. I have stayed in Lido di Jesolo at Malibu Beach a couple of times and Camping Italy at Cavallino both of which are very good sites. Many years ago I stayed at Camping Paradiso with Eurocamp and thoroughly enjoyed it.
