I have just sent of a booking enquiry form to this one for next summer. Has some bells and whistles, on a beach, close to Barcelona and Girona.

It is £37 a night but £20 cheaper than the many all bells and whistle ones.

Worth a look

Fourbears, have a look at Ballena Alegre. It is in the bay of roses and has direct access to a lovely dafe beach for the children and swimming pools for them.  It is about 40 minutes over the border.

Why not look at Playa Joel, Noja, Northern Spain.

Direct access to beach, Atlantic sea (good bodyboarding, even some surfing), Junior disco, games, play area, restaurant, bar, shop, pool and only 20 minutes off the Santander ferry.

We've been 3 years running. (our kids are 7, 9, 10) The only doubtful is the weather, which can be less than stunning at times...but thats the Atlantic coast for you!

Theres another thread on here about Playa Joel.

We also stay at Torre Del Sol on the Med coast, but even I won't body board there.
