Next year we are thinking about having our main summer two week holiday in Holland, camping. We have never been there before, but after 10 years of camping in France we fancy a change.
We are looking at a site called Koingshof, has anyone been here? There is only one review for it which does seems to be ok.
Is there any other sites people can recommend in Holland?
We have two children aged 11 and 15 so are looking for a site which appeals to the older child rather than 'young families'.
Thanks for your help.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We stayed there a few years back in a Eurocamp static. The camping area looked really good, pitches were a fair size. The swimming pool is great. They also have a really nice restaurant. All in all a pretty good site.
------------- The Chinster.
Some people are just all show. I don’t mind that if the show is worth watching but ….
Holland campsite guide here English is widley spoken in Holland so you can phone the campsites & generally there will be somebody who can speak English.
------------- Sell my camper? I'd rather eat school semolina!
Yes we went this year in April excellent site. Very clean facilities and extremely nice staff. Could not fault it and will definately be going again next year.

That was my review and its the second time we have been to Koningshof. The first time was with our boys who were of a similar age to your two. They reckoned it was the best holiday they had ever had! During the school holidays it will be very busy, as will all sites in Holland. We were there in early May this year for a few days because we wanted to visit the Keukenhof Gardens (they won't be open when you intend to stay) Its a good quality site run by friendly people who all speak English.
I second what is said above. Koningshof is a superb site. It is close to a lovely town & the facilities are superb. The swimming pool is great. There are sporting activities, cycling, fishing, not too far from a nice beach. Really friendly people, good sized pitches too. Lots of Brits there, some doing Eurocamp, others seem to use it as a stop off point when heading south. Would certainly go back. We did get our tent flooded there in very heavy rain. Spent a night in the Holiday Inn nearby, then bought the folding camper for the next year. Can't blame the site for that though! We found another site that is part of the same chain that we liked at Delft with loads going on too. The Dutch are fanatical about camping, more so than us. They all seem to speak English too. Food is good & the range of beer unbelievable. Enjoy!
