Has anyone stayed here? We're looking for an overnight stop on the way home before we get the eurotunnel the next morning and I found this on ther HPA website. Need somewhere with showers and preferably a restaurant as we'll have been travelling from the Vendee and be ready for an evening meal when we arrive!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We have overnighted there a few times. It's fine for that, but no restaurant. However it is just a short walk to the town beach shops and restaurants. Or you could stop in Boulogne and eat before you pitch.
If you are travelling in peak period mid Jul-mid Aug you may well find it full. The campsite is ok tho & only 5mins walk to Wimereux prom & town with plenty of(generally rather expensive)resturants & cafes,
An alternative would be Camping du Lapin at Bleriot Plage only 5mins from the tunnel.
The Calais/Boulogne area is very popular with local French/Belguim campers, add overnighting Brits & the campsites do get very busy at peak period.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
