Were off to La Yole in August (i'm so counting down the days to go!!). Does anybody know what the policy is about mens swimwear. My OH thought the Speedo link was a joke, but secretly is a bit worried about having to wear them !! . If anybody has been there, can u help me out please.

Hi Ali,Yes we have stayed here twice and they insist on lycra type speedos or shorts.Buy them in this country cheaper as I got caught out and had to buy them from the shop for about £12!! We love this site and will be returning next year ,say Hi to Thierry for me (he owns the bar) and hope you have a great time.

We went last year it was great, you will have a fab time. For swim shorts you can get cheap ones in Decathlon. My husband was mortified 1st time wearing but as you know you get there and everyone looks the same from a distance anyway,- if I havent got my glasses on and I often find however bad I think I look theres always someone looking worse ha ha.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
