hi am going to france for 8 days next week and i have a 5kg bottle the needle is pointing to approx 3 quaters full and was wondering if it would last for a family of five using average consumption.Will cook prob every eve some mornings and boil kettle etc i have the green bottle with the red regulator,Can i get that refilled in france many thanks in advance

I would have thought that would be ample for 8 days use, basically just for cooking. I'm not sure what sort of bottle you have though: Calor Gas cylinders cannot be exchanged in France, but some others can.

Only Camping Gaz cylinders can be exchanged in France, why not take a full spare with you to save worry?
