It makes me sad every time we pass those black roadside figures, indicating someone has died at that spot on the road. Sometimes there's a whole group - and on one occasion someone had made child size and baby size figures too - two adults and five children at one place!
I agree although they really make me think about road safety and my speed far more than any of the Think! adverts they show on the TV in the UK. There is a road south of Soissons (possibly the D1) where there is at least 30 over a couple of km.
