Hi Folks,

Last time of asking, we set off in 3 weeks for the Gambia. Our route is UK to Bilbao, Through Spain,Portugal,Morocco,Western Sahara,Mauritania,Senegal,Gambia, If anyone has any last minute tips or knowledge we would really appreciate your input.

hi, hope you have a carnet de passage for seegal or your vehicle isnt too old. they are strict. alot of it now is on tarmac.expect along wait into gambia they can be very awkward at the customs. get you ticket for maroc between gib n algeciras at polmones near lidl n carrafour super markets look for voyages normandie. juan carlos is the owner. have fun we do its life changing you,ll never fit in here after your trip. roll on winter off again. cheers alan.

I spent a couple of weeks in Banjul in the 80s and have many happy memories of friendly locals and great food. Hope you have a fab time, some pics would be great.
