Please say hello to Johanna and Alastair from Harry and Valerie in Northern Ireland. We have worked on site and we are well known there. We are presently touring and working in the Republic of Ireland so you can tell them we are both well and hope to see them soon. Saw the Aventura for sale ourselves and we have a 2003 Aventura 315. You will enjoy the site and make many friends as people return there again and again and we may meet you there ourselves if you are there in September.

I certainly will, allengeneaology, I intended to buy one of the cheaper vans, but when I saw the Aventura I was smitten! I hope to have many happy times there. Might see you in September. Good luck with your travels.
I was in touch with Logis du Breuille a few months ago. Initially they were prompt with their replies, but when I actually tried to book to store the caravan there the last reply took weeks to come back, saying that they on;y would store caravans which holidayed with them, I'm now looking for another storage place in the Royan area.
Hi We are thinking of storing ours next year in France , we love the Royan area. Can you tell us how it has worked for you. Main worries . Will the cushions etc get damp as presume left out in the open. Have you managed to have the van serviced in France?
What if anything has been an issue with leaving the caravan in France we understand the basics ,empty van of food clothes bedding towels etc and if early morning ferry ,accommodation required the night before
Would love your feed back holiday girl

Hello, I admit that I had all your concerns but after 6 years of storage I can report that all is well. The cushions are fine. Over the last 2 years we have left a duvet and pillows there; again all fine we simply air them all in the sunshine when we arrive. We never leave any food items, but leave toiletries in the bathroom cupboards and cleaning products in the kitchen. We clean and hoover the van thoroughly before we leave it, and have been fortunate to never have needed to deal with a wet/damp awning.
We haven't toured the van since we took it to Logis, so we haven't had it serviced. But I am sure this could be arranged if required.
It works well for us because we arrive on site from St Malo at lunchtime and our caravan is already on our pitch. We leave at lunchtime and travel up to Caen for our return ferry so again no rushing around.
Any other questions then do ask.

I store near Angers ... 185 euros per annum. Modern, indoor, very secure, lovely people.
If you are interested, let me know.
Hello Kelper
I could be interested in your storage facility but I am paid up till this time next year. I could have a look in May though.
You will get my email on my profile and I'd be grateful for a message so that I can ask a few questions.
Thanks
Hi Oxter ... I'll e-mail you as soon as I finish this!
Holiday Girl ... we leave absolutely everything in our FC when in storage. It is an indoor, dry, very secure store ... but we leave all cushions, mattresses, bedding, towels etc ... plus all hardware. Never had an issue with damp, yet! We do put the duvets, pillows and quilted under-sheets in a vac pack bag, which probably helps too.
Where we store, there is no associated camp-site ... we just turn up and collect, then return at the end of the hol ... depending on where we last camp, and weather, we decide whether to do the final 'fold down' on the day we drop it off ... or whether we do it the day before and get an F1 or cheap B&B for the final night.
Vis a vis servicing ... the local garage serviced our FC (basic wheels/chasis/brakes) ... I do the gas and LX myself. The storage owner arranged it all ... I just went to the garage and paid, prior to collecting the unit from storage ... garage is in the same village, so half a mile from the store.
