HI, looking to go to France in August next year.  Can anyone recommend a site suitable for 4 kids between the ages of 6-12 plus 2 adults, that has swimming pool and entertainment.

Willing to drive up to 8 hours from Calais.  Have looked through the reviews and there are just so many didn't know if there was one particular one that anyone would go back to or had personally recommended to them.

             We are going back to the Ardeche again for 2010, same site as this year, but only our second visit to the area, after many years of doing the "Cote d Azur", reasons for the change, it's cheaper, less busy and hardly any Brits's, climate almost the same, and a good saving on Autoroute tolls, being around 400 miles less travelling, still a good 700 miles from Calais if taking the less busy Eastern Autoroutes, although we do Dunkerque only £58 return with NL for Car and Trailer in July, Aubenas is around 95 miles from the Med, if you did fancy a day at the beach, although there is so much to see and do in and around the Ardeche, we missed the beach out this year, the site we go to caters well for the kids ages you mention, and with the site being quite small at around only 40 touring pitches, you will always know that they are not to far away. there is a site review on here, but many more on the Dutch forums. hope that helps.

The last 4 years, we have gone here. Best of both worlds inland but about 1/2 to the beach.
