i wonder if anyone knows when the french take their hols,is it the first two weeks in august

The busiest period is between the 2 public holidays mid Jul & Mid Aug. The weekend after Assumption day hol(Aug 15)the campsites are much quieter. The first 2 wks of Jul are fairly busy because Dutch/Belguim/France school hols start early July.
