I wondered if anyone has experience of staying at any hotels in Paris, with a car & tailer?
We are going over to france for 3 weeks camping, in august, and wanted to end with 3 nights in Paris, staying in a "hotel" and allowing us to see Paris at our leisure.
The "we" is made up of me, DH & 4 kids, so staying on outskirts and getting metro in works out about as expensive as some of the economy hotels.
I'd welcome any advice,
Thanks
------------- everything will be ok in the end, if its not ok, its not the end. Anon.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We stayed in BB on the periferique at Malakof last year - there was a large car park under the building with a roller shutter door - cost about 8€ a night
If you are driving, why not stay in a budget hotel on the outskirts and drive in! Despite what people say about it, I'd rather drive in Paris than London...
A couple of years ago my son stayed in the Ibis in Montmartre, which has parking (but which has to be paid for on top of the room rate). I don't know whether they would accommodate a trailer though, but it's quite handy for everything.

especially as parking is free in aug in paris on the meters marked with an orange dot
last may we drove back from spain and stayed in the hoiday inn in paris, we had a roof box so couldnt get into underground car park, but there is a secure coach park about 10 minute walk away, the metro is one minute away driving is ok in paris its the parking thats the problem best to research where to eat especially with kids
We have used the Holiday Inn at Charles De Gaul airport. Underground car park with secure shutter doors. Not a guarantee of security but better than most. We had no problems. I chain the trailer to the car and back it against a wall! With only a tarpaulin on top it is a risk but all you can due is reduce the risk as much as possible.
