Sorry for the late reply, It was not very busy, the top field was empty. Each block had 1 or 2 empty plots.

Mixture of nationalities and ages and our grandson (10) found playmates, we reserved pitch for 2 cheques and really enjoyed our time there and will revist.

You get a discount on canoe hire based on site, i can recommend it take the day and picnic as there is 2 or 3 lovely villages to stop off and the mini bus picks you up at the end. If i recall correctly i think it 33 euros with discount for the 3 of us.

Dont attempt to take your Camper into Domme, park in the car park below gate into Domme.

Choose this site on Val and Huw's recommendation and we are glad we did.

thanks Sapper, when you say the top field do you mean the part of the site nearest reception? OH gets nervous getting on and off pitches, where would you recommend? Reading the reviews on here I have some ideas and Vals pitch sounds good too.

We will be able to reserve FOC with the gold card when it turns up.

Pager33 - we were down at the bottom end of the site, by the river.  The site is divided by a small access road, which goes on into the vineyards, and we were the river side of that. Have you seen the site map on the Soleil Plage website?  You can locate the pitch we were on (115) on that).  It wasn't too busy when we were there (beginning of September) - every morning there were free pitches - and one part of the site was empty completely.

Yes the field by reception.If you choose a pitch to the left or right of each section you should be ok.

If you are worried go for the field by reception.
