   I'm looking  for  a municiple  or   small campsite  as  near to  Tours  as  possible in June. I'm  doing  some  research at  Tours  cathedral and will  be   there for  several hours  each day  so the  nearer  I am to the  city  centre the  better.

I will be on my own  so am just   planning  to   take a small  easy  errect  tent  and  only  need a site  that has  the  basics of   EHU and  showers .

*  I could  get a  not too expensive  hotel in Tours  but the    prospect of a few  extra  nights  camping would be  much better.

suggestion  & reccommendations  appreciated.  20 K  is the  absolute  maximum   distance from the  city .

In the Caravan Europe guide there are eight sites mentioned in and around Tours.  Les Rives, mentioned above, doesn't get a particularly good write up " Friendly owner, site needs modernising, some resident workers, pitches near the road, noise in morning rush hour  andpossibly late night noise from adjacent parks and clubs".

Thanks , couple of  good options, especially  Les Rives because its  close to where  I want  to be .
