In the Caravan Europe guide there are eight sites mentioned in and around Tours. Les Rives, mentioned above, doesn't get a particularly good write up " Friendly owner, site needs modernising, some resident workers, pitches near the road, noise in morning rush hour andpossibly late night noise from adjacent parks and clubs". Other sites are Camping Les Acacias, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9532, Camping des Peupliers (former municipal), http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9531, Camp Municipal Les Isles www.veretz.com (can't find the reference to the campsite on there, though), Camping L'Islette at Fondettes (no website), Camping Club Les Granges, Luynes, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9533 and La Mignardiere which is a much bigger site, and all of have a better write up in the Caravan Europe guide.
