Am looking for caravan storage facilities in S.France preferably in area Nice-Cannes but will consider anything along the south coast/inland. Also small storage facilities (say 3mx3m)
Thanks
David

We found a site inland from Beziers, which does indoor storage of caravans, trailer tents, boats., etc., and prices seem very reasonable - but it is perhaps too far west for you. If not, then it's Espace Val Thore

Thanks for that link, "Espace Val Thore" is now on my list of possibles, we are looking to store a "ACE Supreme Globestar" it's a twin axle van, and although we have the use of a 4x4 to get it down through France to storage, subsequent visits will require having the van towed from storage to nearby site, as our regular vehicle a VW Golf is not upto towing the van, if the storage folk can offer said service at a reasonable rate that would be ideal, otherwise we need to find a campsite that also does storage, but from what I have seen that tends to be more costly than using these storage only firms.
They charge 1 euro per kilometre, Francais, and will tow up to 50 km outwards journey, from the storage site. There's a site very nearby, Les Cerisiers du Jaur (Camping Cheque site from this year) and it's open all year. We intend to keep our tow car, so we'd have the caravan taken to site for our main holidays, spend a couple of days there, and then go off touring somewhere, bringing it back to clean up and leave ready for the next holiday, an then they would tow it back into storage. However, in the winter it would be nice to have it towed to site and then just arrive on a flight and hire a car, too!
In the summer months they require more notice to move the van, but in the winter are happy to move it at fairly short notice.
Thanks for that info, I guessed that it could be done and was wondering about the cost, 1Euro per Km seems fair if the site is not to far away, will give "Les Cerisiers du Jaur" a view, could be the solution we are looking for. we would be looking to have the van towed to the site and left there for upto 9 weeks June/July/August, so that other family members can use the van, that way we split the cost of storage, site fees and towing, been working on this for a year know as the van has been stuck on a driveway over hear for 2 years now, quite a shame realy as the van was bought new 2005, but keeping it on a UK site permanant with storage was becoming over expensive. and then the weather of course.

Cerisiers du Jaur is 11 kilometres away, according to Google Maps, and looks like our sort of site. We're going to have a look around, or perhaps stay there, during our next holiday, so I'll let you know. We've been to St Pons (un-touristy little town, nothing spectacular - except there was 'The Meteorite Shop' which sold bits of meteorites, some very cheap and some hugely expensive). Olargues is nice, the market in St Chinian is fabulous, there are a few lakes and rivers around the area, and lots of other reasonably interesting places within a short drive.
We thought about storage on site, but because our van is getting old we're looking to store it under cover so that it lasts a bit longer! We've just had to replace a large front window because of damage caused by direct sunlight - and everyone knows about the dreaded 'damp'. Hopefully, indoors, it will avoid both those issues.
this thread is now 6 years old but was wondering if anyone knows of any storage sites in the Nice area - i have followed the link above and its not available - me and my husband really wanted to take our caravan down to the south of france and leave it there to be able to travel to it with ease over the next year as and when. I have contacted several sites but none can offer me a seasonal pitch so have now thought about storage options...If anyone above has any updated information I would be very grateful.
