We need to make a quick round trip (2400 miles!) from Norfolk to Stockholm in July. We are planning to take our Pastiche and do 2 night stops each way.

With a motorhome it is possible to stop at the excellent "aires" across Europe, but is there any similar system for caravans?  All we need is somewhere to stop for 6-8 hours and get our heads down.

Any help appreciated

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

There is some argument whether caravans can use such Aires as those designed for motorhomes. Unless there are signs that prohibit caravans I suppose you could but you won't make friends with the motorhomers! In some countries you can use motorway service areas but you just need to be aware of the risks. Not sure where you are going from but Stockholm is 1000 miles from the Hook of Holland and doing that in 2 days is a pretty tight schedule! Might it be better to plan to stay at campsites en route?

Just started putting the plans together.

1200 miles is not the challenge, 2 very experienced drivers who have done several 5-600 mile one day trips in the past. Just need the spots, campsites or whatever, to get heads down.

The challenge here is the timescales, leaving Norfolk on Tuesday evening and have to be in Stockholm on Thursday. Then the reverse starting Sunday evening 6pm and back by 6pm Tuesday.
