Does anyone know how many airmile's you get converting Tesco Vouchers and how many miles do you need for say £500 worth of travel with Brittany ferries

I rang the airmiles number in the deals brochure and got a quote over the phone - to be honest I can't remember the exact figures they gave me except that it was nothing like as good a deal as the tunnel, and at the time they were doubling the airmiles you qualified for with the vouchers. It wasn't a long phone call though so was easy to find out.

Hi, 1000 miles earns you £60 towards your ferry. I always convert my vouchers online so maybe have a look at the clubcard website. The deal is not as good as the tunnel though, nowhere near. But the double points promotion has made it easier to collect clubcard points. Tesco is my local supermarket and I seldom shop for food anywhere else (have no time to travel further afield to be honest).
For a £500 crossing you'll need 8000 miles and then a £20 credit,debit card top-up I think.

You are much better off changing your tesco vouchers into clubcard deals for other things you might otherwise spend money on (days out/cinema/restuarants) and then putting the money saved towards paying cash to Brittany Ferries.
Yes I agree Christine.To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact we live so close to Portsmouth then we probably wouldn't convert our deals to Airmiles. We earn a lot of Airmiles in a year though, so I don't know what else we'd spend them on, as we're not big cinema peope and we don't tend to eat out very often (when we do eat out we use moneysavingsexpert.com for vouchers so eat quite cheaply). We used to use our Airmiles for flights abroad before we discovered our love of France and bought a caravan. I just wish Brittany Ferries would operate a scheme like P&O used to, now that would be great.
