Taking the family camping to the Benodet area of Brittany in August, this will be our 1st time camping in France. Going via Eurotunnel and then driving to Benodet, We have a 4 hour drive to get to the tunnel here in the UK.

Any advice would be appreciated for a possible campsite to stay for 1 night on the way to Benodet, not sure if the kids will be ok doing the journey all in one go.

What time do you cross? Do you need to stop fairly soon after or will you manage to push on further?
We have a 6 hour journey to the tunnel, and now tend to stop overnight in Ashford Travelodge, get an early morning crossing and a good start on the run into france.

Calais to Benodet is 465 miles and is going to be at least 8 hours driving NOT including any stops so an overnight stop would be best , if your towing the travelling time will be more

Thanks for the reply, we will be hopefully be crossing around lunch time. As stated we will have around 465 miles to travel and was hoping to stop  after about 200 miles !. Looking for a campsite thats not to expensive  as its only needed for one night with the pop up tent.
