We have seen more than 3 exit a room in F1's on numerous occasions, I don't think the staff if you see any! are that concerned, fact is the F1's have jumped up in price over recent years, and are now about the same price as Premiere Classe and B&B's, and I think they do family rooms also.
We have got 4 adults in a F1 - mum and daughter in double bed - Dad in bunk bed and son sleeping on duvet on the floor and a good nights sleep was had by all - We arrived after staff had gone and booked in on the automatic check in, so there was no one to see anyway

A friend in work always books 1 room for his family of 2 adults and 3 children. The 2 boys use their bedrolls and sleeping bags. Must play havoc with the fire regs though
We've had 4 in a room before - but the kids were young then and fitted top n tail in the bunk. Wouldn't like to try it with more grown-up kids. Anyhow, unless my maths is out you've got 9 - so there would be 5 in a room, which I really don't think is comfortable. Better to spend the extra £20 so all get a good nights sleep imo.
I was also wondering this; with two children under ten I'm sure we would have enough room, but I would be more concerned about having an irate motel manager shouting at me. Does anyone know if the three to a room rule is enforced?
It would certainly be a lot easier than taking down a small tent just for one night stopovers!

Well I am back and yes we got 4 in an F1 bedroom and my friend got her 5 in also (not very comfortable)
We arrived with the reception open so just 6 of us went to the rooms, then the others just walked through as if they had booked in earlier.
We put hubby in the bunk and myself and girls were in the double bed, worked for us.
Dont both with the breakfast not worth it.....
Cheap overnight stop no frills, we used a different hotel when we came back called Premiere class much better and onsuite shower and toilet 55euros much nicer (still no frills just basic)
Premier Class are updating a lot of their hotels and if you go in one that has been updated its really nice, but if you are unfortunate to pick one that has not been, they are quite grotty with an on suite shower/toilet that is really only suitable for small people.
