I'm aware that you can pay for tolls with a card, but can anyone advise if:
1, you can pay by card if towing a caravan, or is it standard cars only?
2, are prepay cards accepted (we have a € FairFX )?
Thanks in advance

We paid with our Visa CC last year, no problem.
You cannot use the "Card Lane" when towing as there is a height restriction, but you can use your card in the other lanes.
Some are manned, some are machines you put the card into.------------- Jennifer

Hand them the ticket and card and they sort the rest, no pin required, my visa credit and debit both work either in the manned booth or the unmanned machines.

We've always paid by card, and this facility is generally available. Am I right in thinking there are a small number of peages (the very short distance ones) that just accept coin. It's been a couple of years now, but I seem to remember paying cash somewhere between Nice and Italy - there again, I might have done this out of choice??------------- David
