Hi
Our ferry is booked for next year (jul/August) and I now need to find a campsite - we stayed at a lovely one is Saarburg in Germany last year and are keen to go to Germany again. Can anyone either recommend a site or give me some pointers as to how I search for one?
Many thanks
Mary

Try posting the question on the Practical Caravan Mag site....direct the question at Lutz, I've noticed he is very helpful and gives direct answers.

Hi Mary, www.azurcamping.de own quite a few sites in Germany and Italy. The ones that I have stayed on have all been very nice and clean, not very expensive. Unfortunately I think the website is in German but it's quite easy to follow. It will give you an idea of locations and if you fancy any they will send you a brochure.

Was it the Warsberg site you went to? We also like Germany and will likely go back next year en route to Austria. Both Camping Cheques and Touring Cheques have quite a few sites in Germany and their brochures make good reference points. I also agree with Ang/Ken the Caravan Club European Guide that covers Germany is a must, all reports by members. My own website has a few details of sites we have used. Germany is a lovely country and I am surprised more people don't visit.
