Has anyone been to this site?Would weather be good in September? also is the town nice to walk around on an evening e.g. cafe's, bars etc.Would be gratefull for any input.

We went to this site Whitsun a few years ago. The site itself was good but we found the area extremely quiet as it was out of season .Only a few bars were open so choices were limited. We found Les Ecureuils at La Berneriue en Retz was a good site for walking into town with bars but being further north I don't know what the weather would be like in September.
