Looking to go to Village la Plage or Monsabert this easter - how busy are the sites compared to high summer?  Obv. its quieter but will sites be deserted - my boys of 9 and 11 love company!

Sites are likely to be very quiet at Easter in France, although Easter is late this year.  We've been on sites at Spring Bank Holiday (British bank holiday) where we've been one of only ten units on a site with 250 pitches!   There may be a few French visitors over the holiday weekend itself, but otherwise you may find it too quiet. 

Check that all facilities are open, too.  Often things like swimming pools have quite a short opening season.

We've been to Koningshof in Holland at Easter for a number of years now. The site is always pretty full, mainly of older retired couples, but the presence of Eurocamp generally means a scattering of children. The indoor pool is always open and we've been very fortunate with the weather and have always managed to spend a few days on the beach -fleece hoodies for the kids, we've sat at the beach cafe with coffees.

I believe that Duinrell is always pretty busy at Easter too.
