Would say La Rive as well as we have stayed there many times but it is large and noisy. There is a site called Le Grand pins by the lake in Sanguient which have cycled past several times which has a pool with a slide, another one is Les Ecuriels which again is next to the lake,this site is featured in the Carisma holiday brochure, the lake is lovely freshwater,warm and shallow for a long way out so is very safe for children. The beaches are about a 10- 15 min drive away great waves if you are into surfing and bodyboarding and are well lifeguarded.Lots of cyclepaths around through the forests we are returning to this area (La Rive) again this year.
