That pitch looks huge. we are off to LPP 15th July and have pitch 59 fairly close to reception. What pitch number was yours so I can make a comparison on google earth? I understand they have changed the pitch numbers this year so not sure if you know the 2011 number of your pitch?
All the best
James
Hi James,
This is where it gets a bit complicated!
The photo was taken on Pitch 232, (now 235 in the new numbering) which is now occupied by a "canvas cabin" or whatever they are called.
We had pitch 248 (new numbering) last year and it was plenty big enough, and have requested it again this year.
We are there from August 5th for a week or so, all are welcome to come over and "buddy up"
Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. All this feedback is giving me a good indication of pitch sizes. The fact you are going back again speaks wonders.
Believe it or not, your info is clear as a bell. I have spent so much time reviewing the old site plan v the new site plan and I am bordering on becoming a LPP expert without actually setting foot on thier turf. Is there any reason you prefer the far side of the site rather than closer to the pool/reception etc?
We are landing there 16th July (15th overnight ferry from Portsmouth/St Malo) so will be gone by the time you land. Would have been good to share a BBQ and a few beers.
Cheers James
