We have decided last minute to go to Holland over Easter holidays, however Konigshof is full for some of the nights during the time we want to go. Disappointed as it looked like a lovely site and near to the Keukenhof I wanted to show my kids and husband the bulb fields and Keukenhof, as I went there as a child.
Anyone recommend a site in that area? But not Duinrell! We were looking at Camping Cheques book and there's a couple further south towards Belgium that take camping cheques during that period but I can't find many reviews on them!
Any info gratefully recieved!
sorry i was going to write that i have booked a rally at delfts hout with carefree for easter why dont you give them a ring . they may be full but its worth a try.

How about camping duinpan. great site but you are picking one of the busiest times because of the holidays and koningsdag(queens day) we allways found this to be a pretty noisy day as the Dutch love Koningsdag
Not my experience during the Dutch school holidays!
David
and it's also Koninginnedag great time to go though
AND you will miss the wedding farce of the century
I couldnt agree more.
During school holidays (especially easter and pinksteren) finding a pitch at the last minute is very difficult and the prices are often stupendously high.
It is also unlikely that a site will take camping cheques or ACSI during those periods.
And to add to that, at easter/pinksteren there is often a set period so you cant stay just 1 or 2 nights. If the holiday is 3 days then you have to book for the 3 nights.
Booking is strongly advised and also make sure you get a price.

Still no review...!
Sorry i have been away camping and have had some connection issues since i returned, i will try and do the review tonight and complete the forms for other dutch sites so that i can do reviews for them when they are activated.
Brian, forgot to say, if you find it too onerous, or tedious to enter all the site facility details etc, just enter the minimum on the site address details and website etc, and we'll do the rest
Cheers
Ian
