Hi, we've booked our two week August holiday on the South Atlantic coast and need to find a stopover South of Le Mans towards Angers. We've stayed in Le Mans before at Chanteloup but wanted to do another hour or so further than there, I've looked on the search but didn't get any inspiration. Can anyone recomend a good family site for a one night stop over?

Hi, have you looked at Domaine de L'Etang. It's about 20mins south of Angers and really easy to find. We stayed there four years ago for about 3 or 4nights.
It was a lovely site with spacious pitches, good clean facilities, good reception staff and a nice pool and bar that also does light meals.
There is an unfenced lake so if you have young children make sure you ask for a pitch far enough away from it.

If you go Le Mans - Tours - Poitiers you could use the municipal in Azay Le Rideau, Le Sabot which is just SW of Tours and 10 mins from the motorway network.
