Hi can anyone reccomend any web sites that i can look at that advertise campsites for sale, or property that has the permissions passed to make a campsite. As we have allways enjoyed touring (especially in France) it has been our dream to run our own campsite.We do own a property in the Brittany region as a holiday home at the moment but realise that it is not easy to get permissions passed to turn the land into a caravan site. If any of you on your travels around France hear of any small sites that are up for sale then please post me details, any useful information would be greatly appreciated.

There's one on this website somewhere - I keep seeing the pop-up of it at the side of the forum posts! Try the For Sale section at the top and see where it might be advertised.

There are several more mentioned in another post on Campsites for Sale which should lead you in the right direction. There was a lovely looking one on their which was for sale some time ago - of course these may all have been sold now.

I didn't know Pyrenees Natura was up for sale - it's on our list of 'possibilities' for our next holiday! However, at 1150000 I think we may give purchasing it a miss!

If I had the odd million pounds I would buy Pyrenees Natura, but hey ho I must wait for the OAP to go up a bit more.

You could also try Azur Ocean for campsites for sale.

My guess this year will see alot more camp sites for sale as people struggle to service debt after a terrible June and July.
