Hi, can anyone tell me if dogs are allowed on public transport? I may try to squeeze a city or 2 in and don't want to drive to them. Also my old bongo won't meet the permissable emissions!

I've lived in Germany now for over 17 years and I can confirm that dogs are allowed in all forms of public transport. Most taxi's will take dogs too free of charge and they are even allowed in pubs and restaurants. Probably one of the most dog friendly countries in Europe.
