We are considering going to La Manga in Feb of next year for a couple of months and will be taking our Cocker Spaniel. Advice needed.=
As it is so large would you recommend this site especially with a 3 year old lively dog ( are there walks in the area (without pine trees ) and can they go on the beach in Feb )
Has any one tried the ferry to Santander using the dog friendly cabins...... are they recommended
What route and stop over sites did you use from Santander
What route would you use from Calais.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Dal5 theres plenty of dog walking along the beach in either direction and in the surrounding area or even on site if you want .
Cant comment on dog friendly cabins but as for overnight stops we used Pico de la Miel just north of Madrid and then its a 6-7 hour run to La Manga
Pity you've got a dog to look after - otherwise I would say forget La Manga - go to Thailand for a month or two, go island hopping down the west coast, drift down into Malaysia, palm trees and tropical white sand beaches all the way, costs of accommodation in bamboo chalets by the beach still cheaper than European camp sites, travel by boats and trains as easy as can be, meet young people all the way instead of being stuck with oldies, much more reliable weather, and Singha beer very palatable as the sun sets. Dogs really do limit you. Spread your wings and fly !
Bonzo has removed your blue sad face from your post (everyone gets one until someone replies to your post) , the links provided look pretty good, I have not been to La Manga but have friends who go every year and they and others we have spoken too are all very happy with the La Manga winter/spring scene, most people seem to book through C&CC but I am sure CC will do same, I just wish I had time/money to do the same, I would be there like a flash

------------- Does it ever get better than spare ribs and chops straight off the BBQ

We took our dog to la Manga twice in the winter (on C&CC rallies) and it was very easy. The only place she couldn't go was on the beachside terrace. But she could go everywhere else for walks, on the beaches etc, and the bar/cafe along the beach (about a quarter of a mile maybe?) made her very welcome. You will find very few restrictions in Spain. Didn't see any caterpillar nests at La Manga at all.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
