mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmFrench Food, yummy baguettes, hams and cheeses.
I'm not sure but I dint think you are allowed to take any meat raw or cooked into France. I am sure I read that when we went this year on a ferry booklet (probably due to foot and mouth). I dont know if this has now been lifted.
'We spent 4 hours in carrefour this year. Is that sad or what? '
We are just as bad. I love E'Lecerc, and I can spend hours there. They kids love to see all the live crabs etc while Mummy wanders up and down the wine shelves
We love to try out all the local ceeses and pateswith nice big hunks of bread. One of the real delights of visiting France, IMHO.
I will admit to taking instant coffee and tea bags.
Don't forget the bacon - theirs is total cack!!!!!
oh by the way what is that bloody offensive smell you experience in every supermarket you go into???? ........it can only be described as a sort of a highly toxic mixture of bad breath, sweaty feet and galloping incontinence.....and no it wasn't me!

"We must just check the cycle accessories before we go. Over there, by the wine aisle".
"And the washing powder. Just by the wine aisle".
"Didn't we pass some cordless drills for €20? Yes, it was by the wine.
"I think we've got room for a few more bottles while we're passing."
I've cleared the shelves of my particular favourite in several supermarkets.
