Hello,
So its our first time camping abroad, we are travelling with a 3 year old so don't want to be to adventurous.
We have a large tent and don't want to be putting it up and down to much.
Our ferry is arriving into Dunkirk at about 7pm local time and we are looking for a good, family campsite within about an hours drive of here. Preferably this would be in a good location for exploring the battle fields/museums.
We are on quite a tight budget so don't really want to go over about 25 euros a night, including electric.
Anyone got any suggestions on a good campsite.
Thank you :)

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Have a look at the site search here

The one site in the area i can recommend it Chateau du Gandspette.  I've taken myself and 4 children there last year and the year before.  A lovely site in a good location for several WW1 and WW2 sites and  museums in France and Belgium.

It was cheaper booking through Vacansoleil than with the site direct.  Myself and the kids are on the video, kids playing catch in one swimming pool, me swimming on my own for about half a second in the other!
