For next years holiday we are thinking about going to Brittany. Does anyone know any sites they recommend. Ideally the site would be close to a beach and have a pool with water slides, other than that we are pretty much open to ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I can recommend Camping de la Baie at Trinite sur Mer in Southern Brittany. Been there several times and loved it.
Don't want to rain on your parade but the weather in Brittany can be just like Cornwall - a bit unpredictable.
If you want better, more settled weather and don't we all on our hols, I would suggest going a further 100 miles or so south to the Royan area. This is in the Charente Maritime. Here I would recommend Logis du Breuil at St Augustin Sur Mer. A lovely site, very well run by an extremely friendly and helpful team. Christian the gaffer is an absolute diamond geezer!
We were at camping de la plage (la trinite sur mer) last week and had a fab time. I've posted a review. The weather was ok, from what I can gather from family and friends we had better weather than the North West England.
------------- Holidays
2011 - Turkey, France (Brittany), Finland (Lapland)
2012 - France (Paris), Luxembourg, Belgium (Bruge, Ghent), Germany (Black Forest)
2013 - Scotland (Isle of Mull), Tenerife
2014 - Tenerife, Wales (Abersoch), Scotland
The sites named in the last three posts are all within close proximity....and this is another - Camping Kervillor at La Trinite Sur Mer. South east Brittany is very lovely and generally has good weather too. Les Druids at Carnac is also worth a peruse.
We had brilliant weather at Trinite sur mer the first time we went but when we went back, at the same time the following year the wind and rain came in biblical proportions. It was really awful, and when this happens there's precious little to do except get p????d!!!
IMHO the area relies heavily on good weather, whereas further south all this is less of a consideration.
I can only speak, like everyone else, as I find.

Camping Village La Plage, Le Guilvinec. Direct access to beach. Lovely, quiet area. Im biased mind you. Been back 7 years, every year saying it will be my last, I must try somewhere else.
When it comes to booking however I just can't go anywhere else. Im in education and could go anywhere but Brittany, and Le Village la Plage is in my soul!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
