I am looking for a smalltown campisite with sandy beach between Santander and San Sebastian for 2-3 nights.

Any suggestions?

Beach, ocean, and a small town to walk into in the evening for dinner.

Hey we're coming at this from the other side of San Seb, - between France and San Sebastien and would like a campsite near San Seb to for a late afternoon and overnight as we head off down into Portugal the following day...
Similar likes - ocean and a stroll into town for some dinner or a quiet drink.. we're tents and would like a smaller site if poss, but clean and with views if larger...

I've been to playajoel, at Easter about 4 years ago. Nice site and facilities. Direct access to beach from path at rear of site. Nice beach and nice scenery.Our pitch wasn't very big though - only just big enough for the trailer tent we had at the time, and then nowhere for the car.

However! We didn't like Noja. Too much recent concrete development, and the land in the immediate vicinity of the site entrance was an eyesore.

Overall, for the requirements of the OP, the site will be fine though, I would think.

This is well-situated but, unless things have changed, it is a bit chaotic and sometimes crowded. - reviews at http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=8456 - perhaps someone else has been more recently.
